How to activate swap file

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I make an upgrade to the firmware to a 652 Lan Storage Box
2. I am running windows 7 ultimate
3. I make the configuration with IE8 because with Chrome was somme problems

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
snakeos-V1.3.2-20101130-from-original
windows 7 ultimate
Samsung G3 Station External Hard Drives 1.5 TB

Please provide any additional information below.

I read the pdf file SNAKE_OS_V1_20091027_User_Manual and I thing I am missing 
sompthing. The swap file exist but the swap status IS stopped??? How do I 
activate it or start usig the swap file?

Solwe it. It must to be patient. It take a wile until the file is created.

I am having the same problem. Does anyone know how to start the SWAP file ? I 
am using 1.2.0 (2.6.16-Gazineu).

I am sure the poor performance during file transfer (never higher than 500KBps) 
is due lack of the swap.

you have to be patient. This meen 20  - 30 minutes. But the performance do
not improve. The maximum speed I see was 700 kBps, On USB 2 direct
connection is 25 Mbps. So it is not Ok. An other thing: when I am trying to
put files on the HDD the device is blocked after a while.
