Hello,

I am curious if you have time to maintain this list? If you need help, I will gladly assist as I can.

I haven't been working on this, and of course i'd be happy to have help!

I think i should probably build a bash script that does this automatically..

Awesome, thank you, and for your quick reply!

Sure thing, I'll try to look out for any shady domains and will keep it updated here, nevertheless. Fortunately I am not really active on social media any more (these things tend to pop-up on Facebook a lot) so I really can't keep up with these, however I would keep on protecting my family (shared pi-hole instance) from shady websites, of course.

Regarding the automating script, I actually also did that with hufilter as well, but it is a PITA to maintain the thing, especially if one is not a developer... or at most, does not do these things daily. The main problem, as far as I remember were always with linting out the element blocking entries from the adblock-type lists, which containt funky characters and the format of them was always changing, making the perl or bash scripts useless, or foring ones to update and mend them all the time...

As I remember, I used some of the examples to convert adblock-based lists to DNS-only lists compatible with Pi-hole based on this thread. Actually, the guys at hufilter are considering to release an oifficial DNS-only type of list compatible with pi-hole. It would be nice to have such thing, of course for rolist as well.

Thank You,
