Hi @all

please discuss the features that must be included and the enhancements as compared to the Customer Portal.

I would be maintaining the Project Board by cherry-picking the finalized features. Will add more collaborators as the project moves ahead.

As per the discussion in developer list, following configuration ability are expected:

ability to configure permissions similar to how it is for CRM
separation of Portal access from Contacts module
configuration to set default language and storage, and permissions for the external app, eg.: permissions based on a user permissions based on a contact permissions based on a contact and an account the contact is assigned to permissions based on a contact and an account the contact is assigned to and all accounts in hierarchy Additionally, the system shows in the application only the records flagged as “available from outside”.
multiple portals support running on various domains

Hi, follow some ideas

FEATURES

all modules should be available in portal setting to set as active
visibility of modules should be based on conditions (look at MYC portal)
in settings should be possible to set what fieds to show in portal
comments functionality like in standard portal should be available to communicate with customers
possiblity to create sales orders from portal for customers (like ecommerce)
payment from portal
possibility to show related record to main record

GENERAL REQUIREMENT

portal should be designed with possiblity to became an app (using framework like react.js or similar)

portal should use the existing language files of the CRM for all module
