Genus 3.2.3 Stop At Step 1 #22

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run the installation steps

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Should not be there to stop. It complains "Configuration File and Directory 
    Un-writeable
One or more of the above need to be corrected first"

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
3.2.3 on Fedora 17 x64

Please provide any additional information below.

Further examine the source file of step1.php, it seems like it look for 
../../site_config.php which isn't available within the package. Also it check 
for ../ writable, which all are belongs to root:root and have full rw access 
for owner and group.
