Game Scanning not completing #22

Describe the bug Using the new game scanning feature, it seems to scan indefinitely. If I look in folder /fat/.cache/WebMenu/games/media/fat/games I can see a file *.jsonl growing and then shrinking over and over. It reaches around 13,000 games before it starts over.

Describe your setup

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to 'Settings'
  2. Click on 'Scan Folders'
  3. Expand folder to games location '/media/fat/games'
  4. Click on 'Scan' next to a console (I was scanning SNES)
  5. Scans forever

Expected behavior Should complete scanning.

Additional context All my roms are organized using Smokemonster's Packlist database. These are all close to 100% complete, so very large rom collections. Also many duplicates, ie. Game Series Collections

Could you try to scan a smaller folder first (i.e. ATARI2600) and tell me if it does the same thing?
