You need to use host (includes port) instead of hostname.

(Please test, this is a "blind" PR with suggested changes, not a fully tested solution.)

Just tested the PR with EDGE Developer Mode and the fix works as intended.

thank you for the PR. I tested it and have found no issues, also doesn't break stored settings as far as i can see. I'll merge.
