There is a lot of confusion about PPLNS, and miners have been wondering why they do not get any payout even though they contributed shared to a block. This has been amplified by the fact that we've been extremely unlucky and taking longer than 100% to find blocks. Anyone who only mined during the first N-100% (where N is the % to find the block) do not get any payout.
We should either post this on an FAQ or add a tooltip on the Transactions page next to the share count (or payout) for any miners with shares without payout.
