Strange. I now receive this bug.

We had issues early on in our development of the EDS file saving as an apparent binary file, but I thought we had fixed as we haven't had any other reports of this bug. Additionally, I have tested this feature relatively recently, but it's not working on older releases as well.

I see you're trying to communicate with an Allen Bradley PLC (I believe ControLogix but I may be wrong). I have one here that I use to test and can try to work on this as I find time.
