When you reinstalled the add-on, were you able to open ScribeFire again?
If so, are you using the same browsing profile? Removing and reinstalling
ScribeFire shouldn't affect your saved data.

Yes my apologies I panicked. I reinstalled using the latest update after
reading there was a problem. Everything is ok now. Many thanks.
