To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Expected behavior heatmap marked with the actual source ip geo location

Actual behavior emtpy heatmap

happens since ELK 7.x

think this is because of mapping conflicts from previous filed types

fixed after applying correct filebeat index template, then refresh fields logstash-syslog-dns-index.template.json.zip
