Have you considered developing and IE8(Internet Explorer) addon?
I'm sure I don't have to point out that IE8 is the most popular browser on the 
market right now...

It has been considered, yes. Along with Firefox, Opera, and Safari. :) Plus 
numerous clients for multiple systems.

Unfortunately, I need to focus my efforts right now on getting the current 
releases stable and up to spec before I can branch out into other browsers. 
Adam has taken it upon himself to start work on the Firefox one; the quickest 
route I can foresee for people to get extensions and plugins on their favourite 
clients is to write them themselves. I'm more than happy to host and help the 
efforts.

If you don't have the time or requisite skills, just hang tight. Either I or 
some other contributor will get to Internet Explorer when we can. :)
