Extensions would disappear by itself

Operating System: WIndows 7 
Chrome version: 8.0.552.224
Version of android2cloud Chrome extension: 2.0
The server I'm using: default server
The Google Account name that I logged in with:
deenoo@gmail.com

What I am doing, step-by-step:
   After granting the permission for android2cloud all was working well for unknown period of time, but after not using android2cloud for a while, for some reason the android2cloud extension would disappear from Chrome by itself.  It cannot be seen from the Installed extensions.  It requires installation all over again.  This already happen multiple times from two different computer.

What I expect to see:
   Chrome to pop up the page that I share from my Nexus One, and there should be android2cloud extension when I go tool-> extension

What I see:
   No response from Chrome, and no android2cloud extension in my extension gallery.

That is indeed bizarre. Do you know if the "unknown period of time" exceeded 4 
hours? If it did, a patch I'm rolling out soon should fix that. Maybe. I've 
never heard of this before, so I don't quite know what the cause could be.

I just realized that the extension actually crashed instead of just 
disappearing (same as issue 57).  And I did not notice that notification 
because it went away after a while.  Since the extension crashed, it does not 
show up in my extension gallery.  Since I did notice it last time, reloading it 
bring back the extension, but needed to re-setup the extension to make it work 
again.

and my chrome does work more then 4~5 hours.  I basically keep it open almost 
at all time.

Thanks for the info. I'll merge these issues, then, and keep looking for a 
cause/solution.
