The following issue should be applicable to recent Firefox versions(I am reporting this bug on FF80)

What might set this extension apart is that users can grab online dictionary content with their own customized script (running under extension development mode). For development details, please check the development guide.
but I am unable to find "extension development mode" for Firefox. So I was unable to test if activating this mode fixes the bug.
