Hi @haofanglee ,
The UCLA 3.3 DAQ is hardware compatible. You only need to program different firmware. Here you can find how to do this : https://github.com/ninscope/Firmware/wiki/NINscope-firmware and this is the image to program https://github.com/ninscope/Firmware/blob/master/NINScope_1.2.00.img. The description is for the the DAQ 3.2 but the program jumper K1 is the same. Here you can download the software https://github.com/ninscope/Software and here how to install it https://github.com/ninscope/Software/wiki/NINscope-software. In de settings menu you can change the intensity of the optogenetics LED. See the video how to change the settings : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tKePWgOxTAk.
Thank you so much for the detailed directions Andres~~ I will give it a try~
Hi NINscope team,
Thank you for making this product. I'm trying to modify my miniscope based on the NINscope model. I have a question regarding the firmware. How exactly does NINscope compatible with the UCLA 3.3 DAQ board? Do I just load the NINscope img to the configuration file? Do i need to do the same modification to the DAQ as stated here: https://github.com/ninscope/Hardware/wiki/7.-How-to-modify-the-UCLA-DAQ-for-use-with-NINscope ? Which software do I use to control the NINscope? Does the software allow you to change the optogenetics LED intensity?
thank you!
