Some animations, like walking, do a linear step-through, like 1,2,3,4... while
others, like wood-chopping, need to oscillate like 1,2,3,2,1,2,... To help the
artist, a flag can be raised (i.e. "cycle: true") to signify this in the paired
configuration file
