Black screen during radio interactions #215

Validation

There's an issue with the latest release where the radio interactions with Hunnigan result in a black screen and end up soft-locking the game.

I put the new re4_tweaks folder inside of the Bin32 directory. I even tried copying both event and op folders to BIO4 and it still soft-locks.

Hmm, doesn't seem to be happening with my game. I wonder if it is something related to the HD project? What settings are you using, btw? Could you upload your dinput8.log?

Edit: Might not be related to the HD project after all? Albert just tested the latest version and there's no problem for him either. Weird.

No issue here neither, odd. Does removing the re4_tweaks/sideload/ folder allow it to work?

I noticed you're using special 1 outfit too, was that from the new game choice or via re4_tweaks UI?

Nope, same issue.

New game choice.

What's even weirder is that the subtitles work fine, it's just the radio interactions. I'm not sure why.

Hmm, very strange. No idea what could be wrong here. Are we sure nothing from the BIO4 folder got corrupted somehow? Might be worth to try a clean version of the game as well.

Clean version seems to work just fine. Not really sure what happened with the HD project, I'll reinstall it nonetheless and report back.

Also just wanna make sure, are the event and op folders in the BIO4 folder exclusive to the HD project? They don't seem to exist in a clean version.

Edit: Okay cool, it works now. I think I accidentally deleted the event and op folders from helping @emoose with the subtitles. Good to know those are folders that I need to keep lmao.
