[Feature request] Autosave between areas/minutes interval AND skip typewriter-saving animation #304

Hello! Would it be possible to have an autosave in RE4, like, autosaving after a few minutes or after entering a new area?

I don't know how to mod RE4 (I only knew how to mod Skyrim and Minecraft at the moment) but I can suggest that after entering a new area, the typerwriter-save menu will pop up, then if possible, automatically save it into slot 20 or something without a keypress. If possible, skip the typewriter-saving animation too. Speedhacking the game (thru cheatengine) makes the saving animation faster but I'm curious if that can be skipped entirely.

after entering a new area would be a neat feature I know it would work, since the game has retry, plys GC and Wii version had a save anywere that works fine.

Debug mode allows you to save whenever and wherever. This is a good suggestion, assuming it's possible to autosave after entering a new area without bringing up the typewriter menu that would be really cool.
