Hopefully they're not just adding a promotion screen to make people buy RE4 Remake (like they did in RE2 Remake when RE3 Remake came out...) .-.

IIRC there were some font changes in the newer console ports right? Maybe they'll finally bring those to PC.
What would be really sweet is if they ported some of the Xbone version stuff over, think I've heard Xbone is DX11/DX12 only (and x64 only too maybe?), so they probably have all the code ready to support those, maybe new DX11/12 renderer would be able to fix some of the broken effects here.
Being so close to RE4make release I'm not really expecting any big improvements though, most likely just adding some kind of promo like nipkow mentioned...
E: there's also RE4VR which is ARM64 and based on QLOC port too, so good chance the QLOC port already supports 64bit, could likely help any mods that are hitting the 32bit 4GB memory limit...
The font changes would be a really nice addition because I actually prefer how it looks on console compared to PC. I'm not getting my hopes up, but it would be cool if a lot of things were added/improved.

@nr1995 just added Chinese language support and some really minor bugfixes, they messed up the release on Steam though so some owners get 1.1.0 and others 1.0.6, hopefully this update will actually be released properly this time...
IIRC he mentioned something a while back in another issue about buying RE4 during a certain period. New owners basically get 1.1.0, and older owners are stuck with 1.0.6 (this is also the version the JP executable is on) because of messed up depots or something.

Hopefully they will add HDR support. Afaik the ps4 version running on ps5 has fake HDR. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Bunch of people on steam forums mentioned getting a 9GB update but I don't see anything on steamdb about it, @nipkownix have you had any updates on steam at all? maybe they finally fixed the 1.1.0 issue?

Yeah seems not, posted what I could find about it at https://github.com/nipkownix/re4_tweaks/issues/473#issuecomment-1447731323, looks like it's just a change to the signature on the EXE for some reason (even though the signature expiry date was years ago...), maybe they had a signing key leak or something.
At least they finally fixed the 1.1.0 issue, just too bad whatever way they did it broke a lot of RE4HD installs though >.>
I've been getting a crash with the latest update on Professional, trying to get back after killing Bitores Mendez crashes the game each time. Here's the crash log for it: bio4.exe.20230304122217.zip

This blocks off any kind of progress in the game, as whenever one tries to go back after killing Mendez, the game crashes and I can't go back to unlock the door to the castle. Seems like another user bumped into this issue way back in 2018 too: https://www.re4hd.com/?p=6095#comment-99502
An SFV check gives OK for all re4 HD files too, so it's unlikely that's the cause of the crash. I also have the 4GB patched applied, since I did get the prompt when booting the game the first time.

And this one I can trigger each time just before entering the room where the Plagas are removed,simply load the save and go straight into it, grab Luis' Memo 5, then open the door and the crash is guaranteed. Opening the door w/o the memo doesn't trigger the crash: bio4.exe.20230307212649.zip
These all seem to be memory-related, as restarting the PC let's me continue, but there's always the risk of getting the crash whenever you open a door to the next area, which basically forces you back to the last saved location. If I play for some time consecutively (around the 30 min mark and above), I can get the crashes to occur at random times at random doors. I am not sure, but it really made me nervous whenever I opened a door since I don't know when I might get a crash, so I had to save at each and every chance I got to not lose that much progress, a shame since I tend to do the whole game without saving anywhere but on the chapter ending screens.
