I see Release date changes (v1.0.0 is now 27th Jan 2017). What has changed with respect to previous Release date (early December 2016 I believe)?

No worries -- Only the documentation has been updated. I will tag this release.

I created a tag for this release to coincide with the publication of the Mindboggle article in PLoS Computational Biology: https://github.com/nipy/mindboggle/releases/tag/v1.0.0
