Clicking on project name or "learn more" should direct to project page #18

I think that it would be more useful than the current behavior if, when clicking on the project name (aka title of the box) on the front page, or on "learn more", the user was sent to the project page, rather than the current behavior.

(PS: this is a nitpick, the website is great!)

@GaelVaroquaux does the current site format work around the issue sufficiently?

I don't really think so. I still need 2 clicks to get to a project page from nipy.org. I don't think that the extra click is useful for most people.

Hmm, so it's a single click to get from the homepage to this project page: http://nipy.org/packages/nilearn/index.html

There's also a way to get directly to the nilearn homepage--perhaps you're thinking of this when you say "project page"?: http://nilearn.github.io/

So, are you saying that you want to eliminate nilearn's nipy.org project page and make all links to the nilearn homepage directly? Or am I missing some other need for more than one click?

Yes, that's what I mean.

I guess that that's mostly what I mean. Our homepage should give this information as well. If it doesn't, for instance because it is too verbose, then we are messing up, and we should change this.

There are two direct links to nilearn, clicking the "home" icon from the index page, or the "Docs" button from the project page, and yes the current project page is short of useles, but it matches the standard of the site to provide something, in the case that a project doesn't have as substantial a base as nilearn. The project pages are not developed now, but I would envision them having a standard format that shows version and other metrics that would be annoying to have to look up on each individual (different) home page. I am -1 for changing the link to go directly to nilearn to make it different than the others.
