Circle badge doesn't appear to be rendering in README #63

Does anyone have any ideas for why it's not rendering properly anymore? The link to the image seems okay:

https://circleci.com/gh/nipy/nipy.github.com.svg?style=svg

but comes out funky when rendered

Looks related to https://discuss.circleci.com/t/github-status-badges-not-displaying-image/15539. I'm not sure what a status api token is.
