3 years ago Some of the challenges we faced were as follows:
- First issue we faced was integrating the model with back end and front end to predict the car. This was the first step towards learning Django. With Nisarg's help we were able to figure it out and his knowledge gave us a head-start for further development in Django.
- Later we faced the problem of choosing the kind of database to use along with the platform for the same. We explored the available options while discussing their pros & cons at the same time. We finally decided to go with SQL database in Postgres.
- Then we faced a minor setback due to some problems in the data aggregation of the car details but the error was soon pointed out and we solved it then.
- Later we were held back for some time while implementing FILTER page functionalities. This involved use of queryset objects and iterating them for retrieving information from the database. But we figured it out as we set together and did it.
- Another challenge was to test our integration codes for all the functionalities. This was solved by finding the values of each variable and requests that were generated for each functionality and ensuring that they were all correct.
- The last challenge we faced was in the deployment of our product online. We were able to deploy the product successfully but faced issues in database integration online. This was again solved in some time.
