This lib is not working with the XBee shield v1.11 from Seeedstudio.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.I spent seevral days to try to use this lib with this XBee shield.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Nothing was running well. As soon as I made a direct wiring with a XBee chip 
(ground, 3.3 V, RX, TX). It was running!

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Arduino IDE 1.0
Arduino Uno and Seeeduino Mega 1.23
Lib XBee0.3

Please provide any additional information below.

I've got similar results - it appears to send ok  (I'm using one of the 
examples) but the message is never received at the other xbee and I get no ack 
response - is there another lib we should use with the v1.11 sheild?

ignore my last comment - have not got this working thanks to the check list - 
http://code.google.com/p/xbee-api/wiki/XBeeConfiguration 

The problem was that my router xbee had the API mode set to 1 rather than 2 - 
once I corrected that the message was transmitted and acknowledged
