nishantjainuk / SimpleWaterfall-PowerBI

A Power BI Visual that allows users to create simple waterfall charts just by using measures. The standard waterfall chart isn't design to create multi step waterfall and requires the underlying data to be in a particular layout. You can create multi step waterfall. This is very useful in Finance report where you need to create causal reports.

since last update (2.0.10.4) the option to set a max number of steps disappeared

nishantjainuk commented 2 years ago

The version 2.0.10.4 is still rolling out. Can you explain in more detail what you mean by the option as disappeared. Can you add few screenshots please

Here should be the limit steps toggle image

like in this one image

I have the same visual, with the same version in the same report page and one show the toggle and the other doesn't

@RamonGO , is there any different between the 2 visuals that you have on your report i.e., different measures etc?

I shouldn't happen but can I ask you to recreate the visual that is not working and check if that helps

RamonGO commented 2 years ago

I just discovered that it is because of the drilldown option...

If I use the drilldown option to see the two levels the limit step toggle disappear. It could make sense

Many thanks
