can't find contacts in gmail account #5

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. there are no contacts synced with gmail contacts from outlook.
2. run the sync program. wait for it to finish
3. check gmail account contacts.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected to see contacts in my gmail account, but there are none. 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Written in C#, .NET 3.5. Currently using Google Data API for .NET protocol
version 2 (1.4.0.2)

Please provide any additional information below.
I ran the sync process and the icon was spinning in the system tray.  I
tried running it again right away, but it did not spin.  I entered a test
account, ran the sync and it briefly spun like it was uploading the test
account.
I shut my computer down, restarted it.  I logged in and out of my gmail
account, but can't find the contacts there.
Great idea, hope you can get fixed :)

I have also the same Problem. Windows 7, Office 2007, Gmail normal account

Same problem Here, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and Office 2007.  All updates are 
applied
to both.  App says it's sync'ing 153 contacts from gmail->Outlook but I have no
contacts in gmail... nothing in the logs that show it's sync'ing from 
outlook->gmail.

GCS doesn't appear to do anything when "syncing". I have heard reference of an 
icon "spinning in the tray" but this doesn't even happen. As far as I can 
tell... nothing happens at all when I try to sync.

OS: Windows XP
.Net: 1.1 - 4 (including 3.5 SP1)
GCS: 0.9.1.0
Mail: Standard GMail (Not Apps)
Outlook: 2007

Vista Ultimate 64 and Outlook 2007 here, same results.  Outlook has 300-some 
contacts, log window indicates the tool is synchronizing them all, and nothing 
appears in GMail.
