I agree that the standard should enable this, but does the BC also propose that we include a specification on how this should be done in the CPLD specification?

This means having to define a fundedBy property, and associated ontological categories for capturing funding organisations, grants, etc. These differ from country to country.
On the tracking: does the BC propose to prescribe the capturing of incoming links?
