- Steps to reproduce the problem.
Ubuntu 10.04LTS desktop, 32 bit.
Chrome 10.0.648.204
Java installed (sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras)
Click on "Open the blocks editor"

- What happened.
The blocks editor JNLP file downloaded, I attempted execution, the window for
the editor flickered on my screen and exited.

- What you think the correct behavior should be.
Block editor should open up somewhere, or stay open.

I'm having a problem that seems to echo this post, please look to this link for
further info of solutions offered and tested. Members of the board (Les and
Gary) have been great but we have no resolution.

I REALLY want to use AI on linux. I have Joli OS (formerly jolicloud) installed
on my netbook. It opens the .jnlp file incredibly faster than window,
downloading the .apk and everything, but the blocks editor itself is really
laggy. Joli OS uses something called Netx to open the .jnlp files, and at least
through synaptic package manager, seems to be the only thing... so I was
wondering for anyon who uses AI only on linux, is there any way to fix the lag
issue? on Joli OS it has a progress bar and takes <60 secs to download, but
lags :( please help hate windows need one less dependancy
