Sound Turning High Pitch and High Speed

After making app and testing successfully, somehow Sound1 goes really high 
pitched and high speed randomly. The only fix for this problem is a reboot, but 
it can happen again. I am not sure how this problem is caused, perhaps pressing 
the home button when the sound is playing?  Any support for this issue would be 
greatly appreciated.

Sadly, I cannot find a very reliable way to do this. But, it seems to happen is 
the sound was played too many times and/or the app was closed while the sound 
was playing. It happened three times so far, by seems to have stopped. Is there 
any reason for this to be happening?

This happens when I'm using my "HeyTell" app, and it's not on speakerphone.  
When I playback a message through the earpiece, it's fast and high pitched.  
When it's played through speaker, it's normal.
