Application Power Management Issue?!?!? #160

More so than usual, my cellphone's battery was dying rather quick today. It had 
gone into the "red" state when it took me to the battery usage screen before it 
completely died and it showed me that the HelloPurr application was using 98% 
of the battery, which was MOST surprising in that I was not actively using the 
application. And if I even used it today at all, it was but for a few seconds 
for the entire day.

Out of habit to exit an application, I simply use the "back arrow" instead of 
going through the "menu" to formally exit the application. However, the "back 
arrow" option should have put the application into a "sleep" state and 
certainly should not have allowed the application to consume 98% of the 
battery. I still need to do some more investigating on the matter, but I am 
curious if others have notice battery life issues too.I would be curious to 
know how "power management" is being handled by App Inventor?

OS: Windows XP - SP3
PC: Asus EeePC
BROWSER: Chrome
CELL: Samsung Moment with 2.1 - Eclair
