Thanks for you report. There is an ongoing effort to replace the blocks editor
with a browser version that might be easier to make accessible, but it is still
early to know. Changing the status as noted.

Thank you for the status update / message. Please be aware of the Eyes Free
Google Group. Where you can find many of the users and developers of Android
accessibility features. If you have questions about the approach or want input
or help testing please email: eyes-free@googlegroups.com
Some of the FireFox and Chrome browser developers follow this group. Some of
the users would like to be able to use the Android App Inventor. For low vision
users it may only require making the block tips accessible/talk. For blind
users it may require more creative solutions. Imagine having a conversation
with the blocks editor. Maybe a voice assistant could be a front end to what
already exists.
