I think it would be great if they could add an element in the palette called
"Ads" that way you can just drag and drop a container into your working area
ready to be setup for ad serving.

Yes, but... when are they going to do that? Becouse I'm going to start to work
really hard in an aplication and I want to put it on de Market for free, but...
how i can earn money without Adsense? or any other? If it's not posible now its
a big mistake for Google...

well it's "Noted" so at least it's in the system....but I wouldn't hold my
breath on it being done anytime soon. My wild guess would be summer at the
earliest. Unless we get more people interested. We need more stars

Waiting for the day this gets accepted. I have my app in the market with about
500 downloads withing a week. Admob would have been helpful.

There is an VERY EASY method to get ads into your app or game
1. Register here http://web.mobpartner.com/?affi=149572
2. Add your app/game to your account
3. Subscribe to any campaing you like for that game/app
4. Wait for the approval (few hours to 1 day, some are instant)
5. Download a banner from the campaing you subscribed to
6. Upload the banner to your game/app in app inventor
7. Set the url to the link displayed by the campaing
8. Wait for people to click on the banner
Enjoi :) if you need any help please pm me or comment here.

Hi , The status is noted from Oct 28,2010 ... Is there any update regarding
this? Since so many apps r being developed from app inventor, if Ads is
implemented soon then it is helpful for developers and will attract more
developers. Kindly update the status

This has been implemented by Amerkashi Hossein and hes selling his open source
modded code for $75 for AI classic. But MIT should include this functionality
in the standard cloud based portal for the general masses. Why is MIT silent on
this?

We need AdMob - even as paid function for App Inventor apps.
We`ll earn some money - the App Inventor team will earn some money too.
Friendly business solution for MIT App Inventor, Google ADMob and users, is`t
it?
