This issue also occurs when viewing the .apk using a file manager (eg. Astro),
or installing or uninstalling. In all 3 cases you see the smaller, default AI
icon.

I confirm that the icon didn't work for me, nor upload the apk to market, it
gives the error no icon.

@woransa this has nothing to do with publishing, even with the icon issue
fixed, publish apps to market is a sepparate issue that maybe in a close future
will be implemented.

I am having the same issue. App icon does not install and apk file is coming up
on Mac as a "document" file not an "exec" file. This issue happens on already
existing apps I have created that worked and then republished. Please help!
