GPS Datum #58

I recently returned from a trip to Turkey, Greece and Egypt. I used my GPS
in conjunction with my camera to take some wonderful pictures and record
locations. However, when i call up the pictures in Google Earth, they are
several miles from the actual spot (like the pyramids). I am guessing that
it has to do with the datum setting i used in my GPS - WGS - 84.

Is there any way to after-the-fact change that datum setting to more
accurately reflect the actual location of the photos?

I love the program - thanks for developing!

Hello Kim,

I don't think it's a datum problem.
Did you set the "UTC Offset" value right (you can try different values).

If you think the camera and GPS were out of sync you can also add an additional
offset in "Options" > "Local time correction".

Don't hesitate to send me one or two pictures for testing with your GPX here:
