for some systems it would be more convenient to specify where the login token is written. For example on read-only filesystem it would be better use a commandline option like -d, --directory.
Just by looking right now i see that -d is used for printing verbose log messages which doesn't make much sense. Rather use -v for it unless i miss some option that uses it already.
