Home page main image text doesn't look right #10

Can it be re-worded. E.g. Scribus / Publish it for free! Or something like that. What is the Scribus tagline?

in your post you suggest

"Publish it now", "Get it published", "Layouts made easy", "Fast and Free Layouts", "Get laid for free"

imo, the first two are not that bad... for now i would use one of both and keep this ticket open and wait for somebody to come up with a better idea : - )

I also had "Let's go Publish" but it sounded a bit "cheesy" (don't know if that translates well). I think we can go with "Get it Published" until - as you say - someone comes up with something better.

Whats about: "Raise blank pages to life."

That's better than what I came up with but it has slight undertones of "Raise the Dead".

"Bring Blank Pages to Life" sounds a bit better. I realise it's a very small (possibly picky) change but sometimes a slightly different word can make a big difference.

I was going to suggest putting this to the forum to see what people thought but I would imagine two possible scenarios:

  1. No-one would care;
  2. Arguments would go on for weeks with no-one agreeing.

Probably best just to go with something until someone complains.

I've changed the "About" text a little. Spelling/grammar changes mostly, but I've also removed some references to features that aren't really "core" to Scribus. It's better, but probably not the final version.
