Update: I tested other versions and find that the last build saving games with
SUIKODEN II is v1.4.0 svn492. Version v1.4.0 svn498 to 544 dont' crash in the
Bone Dragon Boss Battle like 492 and older. So after play in 544 and save the
game, I copied the memcards "before" reset/close and pasted them in a 492. It
readed the saved data so I think that for some reason the memcards are reset
with the rest of the program.

Saving my game doesn't work with Metal Gear Solid. It worked for a while, but
now, the memcards seems to not save anymore.

It does not occur with every single close/restart of the program; I have had it
maintain the memory cards across multiple restarts. What I can add however is
that for some reason or another, going into the configuration options seems to
reset the memory cards.
Or something to that effect.
I can force the memory card corruption/wipe by going into the graphics options
and just changing anything there. Well, more or less anyhow. It's a peculiar
little bug, since, as I stated before, it has actually worked as expected as
well.
