I take that back. It's not only dot-directories, but dot-files as well. This is from version 0.3.3 (sender) to 0.3.1 (receiver), both x86_64.
Note that anything or rather everything /below/ a dot directory is happily and silently skipped as well. Try to send a user directory that happens to have a subdir .mozilla. You're in for a surprise.
Presently the workaround is to make a tarball with a sane name, and send that. But that is fighting symptoms, not the affliction.
Confirmed bug on OSX 10.14 with the NitroShare 0.3.4
nitroshare seems to skip whole dot-directories going from linux->linux.
I was copying a directory. At a deeper level within this directory is a directory '.cache', with /many/ files, some 30,000. This directory was completely skipped over. Not good...
