Great. Is there any Fedora repository hosting? Can we publish them when we release the new version in a day or two?
1.2.5 is released. RPM's would be great!
OK, no problem. Today, I asked for an account on fedorapeople.org, so we can host the RPMs there. Let's see what are their conditions.

Attached RPMs for Fedora 16. Still waiting answer from fedorapeople.org. But you can publish them on your site if you want.

Great! I think we'll wait so we can get a proper repository that people can use.
Hi. Just to inform you, I posted fedora RPMs for nitrotasks on my temporary storage http://klobouk.fsv.cvut.cz/~ondra/rpms/ and I asked Fedora to accept and review. Will keep you informed. Best regards

Hi. I am trying to create RPM for 1.4.5. There is a problem with the archive, after unpacking, I am getting directory quickly_trunk, not nitrotasks. Can you fix this? It is not compatible with the packaging process.

I'm not too sure what I can do, it's the name of the bzr branch that quicky uses to release Nitro.
Hi. Actually, I am in the process of getting the package accepted into official Fedora repository. It's not trivial, there is a review process, I waited more than months for the first review. Once the package is accepted, day or two would be no problem. In meanwhile, the RPMs are published on my temporary website: http://klobouk.fsv.cvut.cz/~ondra/rpms/
Could you please fix the directory name and re-post the tgz. archive?

Normally, you go to the directory and run: python setup.py sdist
then, in subdirectory dist, there is a file nitrotasks-1.4.5.tgz, this is the one you publish on the web site.

Thanks! I've updated the website and there's a direct link here: http://nitrotasks.com/downloads/nitrotasks-1.4.6.tar.gz
Hi! Trying to make rpm for 1.4.6, but on Fedora, it is not working. I tried in Ubuntu, it's working if installed through PPA, but if I download nitrotasks from the link as .tar.gz, it's not working the same way as on Fedora. What has changed since 1.2.6? Are you somehow dependant on Unity now?

Nope, I'll take out the Unity deps. The Arch guys seem to manage? http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=58082
Oh, they included a remove unity patch.
Yes, that's no problem. The problem, I think, is the 2 missing files: flexie.js and modernizr.js. They are not in the tar.gz archive - can you look at it?

Modernizr & Flexie aren't even used.
Here's the latest version: http://nitrotasks.com/downloads/nitrotasks-1.4.7.1.tar.gz
Good! It works now. I have F17 rpm, will submit it for review to Fedora community within days. Thanks, Jono. BTW, good job with the Dropbox synchronization !!!

Do you mind if you just wait a bit so I can get around to a 1.4.7.2 build?

Completely forgot sorry, I've updated the site.
Good, thanks. I've got comments from Fedora community. The technical part I am able to work out myself, but I need these 2 to discuss with you:
(1) You need to verify that permission has been granted to distribute logos for DropBox, Ubuntu. There is also an image of Justin Bieber that is probably not free to distribute. (2) It's adviseable to work with upstream to clearly state the copyright holder in the COPYING file.
BTW, in this context, "upstream" is you :)

I've removed Justin Bieber. It was a really bad joke. I'll see about the Dropbox and Ubuntu logos. I'm pretty sure we're allowed to use them.
Hi Everyone !
I'm a Marketing guy working at Red Hat, and I'd love to be able to use the latest versions of Nitrotasks under Fedora/RHEL. Any updates as to when/if it will be available ?
Hi Florian,
Actually, I have Fedora rpm for nitrotasks-1.4.7.2 more-less ready. Community asked me and the upstream to sort out some legal aspects (Dropbox and Ubuntu logo etc.) So, once this is done, I will only update to 1.5 and then I can send the rpm to another review almost immediately.

If you have built the rpm for 1.5, can you please share the link for it ? I could only find rpms to up to 1.2.x.
Ok, I published Fedora 17 rpms here: http://iba-prague.xf.cz/ Let me know if you need anything else there.

Hello. I created RPMs for nitrotasks for Fedora. Would you like to publish them? Both for 32 and 64 bits.
