Refreshing the page causes the loss of browsers selected as current browser #17

Hello. Issue: While among the browsers that are being selected for comparison, several of them are representing the current browser, refreshing (f5) the page causes to retain a single browser among the current browsers, thus without affecting the selection of browsers that were added as unique ID.

Could you give an example URL? For instance, when I load https://html5test.co/compare/browser/?1be0c667d1cb43d3/f9d95c679e0dfae8/mybrowser, all 3 scores are being loaded even after refreshing page.

Your original selection is expected to remain intact after refreshing; there is only one current browser representative in it, although several are required. Instead, choose a selection that allows you to observe the phenomenon described as problematic, as I do here.

Starting with no browser selection | URL https://html5test.co/compare/browser/.

  1. Add current browser twice | URL https://html5test.co/compare/browser/?mybrowser/mybrowser.
  2. Refresh | URL https://html5test.co/compare/browser/?mybrowser.

URL of step 1. is rewritten with the URL of step 2. when a query is made against it.

Why would anybody add the current browser twice? Once should be enough.

You don't know how much this kind of reaction will make my task easier, not only for me but probably for all other readers of a different type than you who before reading your message would have been eager to contribute to improving this product that you maintain and correct programming errors. If there are many types of developers, only one of them all is irrefutably identifiable, and it's yours. So rather than making a long speech, which with you would be vain anyway as it can easily be guessed, I would only tell you this:

As for being helped; either you're worth it or you're not worth it.

Learning right here which side we can classify you, I only have one very good piece of advice left for you. Please close this ticket or make it invisible to the public. The volunteers, if there are any left, still ready to waste their time with you will only have themselves to blame.

@Ricky-Tigg Instead of this lengthy argument, could you please provide a real-world case why you need two current browser scores side by side?
