Allow to disable the Search by Google #200

would it be possible to disable the search by Google?

I use a smartphone under android 12 (Grapheneos), and this blocks the opening of the menu located at the top (notification bar), which, under Android 12 has the advantage of being accessible by sliding down from the middle, or the bottom of the screen (useful with a smartphone with a large screen), this is not possible with Leafy (because of this feature).

it also makes the status bar reappear, which does not disappear after that, it reappears when trying to use google search, or to open the notification drop-down menu, which ruins the design of the app:

It would be great to make this function an option that can be disabled in the settings, and/or to be able to configure the search engine.

First of all, thanks for your contribution. Happy to have you here and not bothered at all :)

I think we can do that. I thought of replacing the top search with something else, but the issue you described ruins the idea... Once I find time I'll check it. Thank you very much.
