bug: SSL error on nix-build for `git.sr.ht/~rycee` #5337

Are you following the right branch?

Is there an existing issue for this?

Issue description

During a nix-build upgrading the home-manager flake input from 23.05 to 23.11

warning: error: unable to download 'https://git.sr.ht/~rycee/nmd/archive/v0.5.0.tar.gz': SSL peer certificate or SSH remote key was not OK (60)

This seems like a symptom of a long running issue still faced by several people using Zscaler at $work: https://github.com/NixOS/nix/issues/7808

Could the source hut URL be avoided to reduce the burden?
