I am new to NixOS, which I am trying out for the impermanence possibilities, having being seduced by the "Erase your darlings" article. A - perhaps naive - question that bugs me is the absence of the /etc/nixos directory in any example given. It would seem to me that it would be quite critical to have it in permanent storage, no ? And if that were the case, perhaps adding it to the provided example would be a good idea.
