Request: Add/Host PeerTube Instance Mirror for NixCon #39

Would the Nix Community consider adding/hosting a PeerTube instance for those that would prefer not to use youtube to watch NixCon 2020?

I understand if you would not want to spend budget money or time on hosting a peertube instance but I believe this to be important for decentralization from google and future of free software.

Any ideas about this our greatly appreciated.

Thank you for this request. I believe we agree on the importance of free software and decentralization.

Regarding hosting and/or mirroring to PeerTube, I will bring it to the organizers' attention. I have no real AV knowledge, so I'll depend on the other more knowledgeable organizers' expertise on this.

Are you aware that the live stream will be viewable on our website? (via Dash.js -- https://github.com/Dash-Industry-Forum/dash.js)
