Scrapping freezes on Xbox #828

Latest nightlies (tested with 90838f0f) solved python's add-ons slowliness on Xbox but Seren still freezes when scrapping starts.

Good evening. I'm having the same issue on Xbox. All latest updates. Freezing on scrapping. I will attempt to upload log in the next couple of days. Cheers. And merry Christmas.

Ok. I can't save the log as Kodi freezes after "Initialising Provider" comes up on the screen. I will uninstall seren and reinstall and report back if that helps.

Geoffy, each time you run Kodi a new log is created and the last one is saved as "old". Just find your logs location and upload the old log on paste.kodi.tv. I personnally do that from FTP (https://github.com/Dantes-Dungeon/DURANGO-FTP).

@Geoffyboy could I ask a small favour. As I don't have a xbox to test this against, could I ask you to try changing your scraping display style from Fancy to another style such as background.

Looking at the latest log, it seems to have locked up in the GUI screen init. I'm wondering if its the custom windows thats doing this.

I just tried the background option. It still stalls at initialising providers.

Do you need more logs for this issue? I noticed if I let it sit for a good few minutes it may play a file, or return no results when there are playable files on my identical PC build (running the same version of kodi as the Xbox, both from the Microsoft store).

Good day. Has anyone had any success getting seren to scape on Xbox yet?.

Here is one from my Xbox. Debug logging is enabled. I opened Kodi, went to a show using a Seren widget, pressed play. Scraping never finished and I could not back out. After some time I eventually had to force close Kodi.
