[REQUEST]Previous Versions #881

Issue Current Version (3.0.0) NextUp feature works differently than previous versions.

Describe the solution you'd like I would like the ability to choose different versions of Seren from the Information>Versions menu of Kodi

Describe alternatives you've considered I have tried using version 2.1.9 but that version would not pull Trakt data. I have also tried using other Add-ons an am unable to replicate previous experience.

Additional context Looking for continuous non interrupted playback of Series Film previously broadcast for TV. Having previous versions available would enable testing and/or forking with previous feature set.

This seems like two different things:

The one is totally possible, just not something we have supported in the past. We typically don't do this, as previous versions tend to have bugs that are fixed by more recent ones. I'll keep this issue open as a reminder to think about that for future releases.

You haven't given any description of this here... can you please open a different issue about this? Please make sure to follow the bug report template, including attaching a debug log.

There is a bug about NextUp not working 100%. There were log files uploaded and it was closed with a work around. The work around is not the same and is not a solution for my "edge use case". Perhaps, I should not have included that information as to "why" I would like previous versions to be available. I am savvy enough to pull down .zip files as opposed to only using the previous versions menu. Thank you for your reply, I will try to explain the situation better in the future.
