Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
The problem is that with Kodi's internal player, HDR content looks washed out on SDR screens.
Describe the solution you'd like
I have an MPC-HC installation with madVR installed that can tone-map HDR files correctly, so as a workaround, I would like to use that with Seren instead of Kodi's internal player.
Describe alternatives you've considered
I've tried this: https://kodi.wiki/view/External_players but the "Play using..." menu doesn't appear for Seren content, only for local files.
Edit: Oh, apparently just putting an entry in playercorefactory.xml makes Seren use that external player by default. That's great, but I will still leave the issue open - it would be nicer if it was optional / only reachable via context menu just like (I assume) vanilla Kodi. Since this is a workaround after all - some of Seren features like auto-next aren't supported this way. There's no need to use this for non-HDR content, for example.
