I installed cpsm in vim using vim-plug and ran ./install.sh after installing with no errors. However, whenever I run CtrlP, I get the output as ERROR: cpsm built with version of Python not supported by Vim. The output of vim --version is:

OS details: Arch Linux x86_64 Python Version: 3.6.3

Just on a side note, there is no error reported when running CtrlP after starting vim with vim -V9vimlog

This patch worked for me https://github.com/nixprime/cpsm/pull/36

This issue does not exist any longer. Closing it

This bug still exists and should be re-opened. I am on Arch like the OP and no matter whether I run ./install.sh with or without both PY3=ON and PY3=OFF I get the same error reported by the OP when I run Ctrlp.

PS: The patch described by https://github.com/nixprime/cpsm/pull/36 fixes this issue.
