Once we have all the parts (still waiting on transistors/resistors in the mail, and the last 6 8x8 layers), we will need to create the board. This could be done on prototype board (everything is through-hole), or on an etched board.
The protoboards I bought might not be long enough for each layer, which is another great reason to etch a board.
