Can't write more than one letter on Discord app #2

Hello, Saluton

I tried to use your extension but, on discord, when I write one character which is replaced by its Esperanto version, I can't write any more...

Saluton,

I know this is from a year ago. But I wanted to elaborate on this issue with steps to reproduce it, even though what @GuillaumeGas said was pretty straightforward.

  1. Use Discord on the browser
  2. Type in any textbox
  3. Type a Esperanto specific character
  4. The text should freeze no matter what type of text edits you try to do. The inputs will be recorded but you will not see a visible change.
  5. Refreshing the page is the only 'work around', but that also means no Esperanto characters

I feel like this image would also be helpful

Hi guys, I'm developing an addon for german umlauts and I have the same problem. I think it's impossible to bypass the search input. I suppose discord listens to this input in some other way. I got a little bit further tho. All other discord inputs work for me, though it seems like Jensen lost interest in this project, so I don't know whether it is worth my time to do a pull request.

I'd be willing to maintain it if that means there's going to be a 'fix'

well, I will publish my esperanto extension (hopefully) this week, so i think there is no need.
