Spacebar does not trigger page scroll without manually focusing pages

What is the problem? Describe completely:

Minimalist version   - 0.5.20
Relevant core module - Unknown
Chrome version       - 16.0.912.75 m
Operating System     - Windows 7 64-bit
Language             - English (GB)
Google Apps user?    - Yes
Other extensions     - Silver Bird

Without Minimalist Everything I'm able to page through web pages using the 
space bar. If Minimal Everything is enabled than I must first click somewhere 
on the web page, otherwise the space bar has no apparent effect. I presume that 
ME has somehow changed what receives keyboard events on a fresh loaded page.

I can't replicate your issue. Scrolling with the spacebar works fine for me on 
pages affected and not affected by Minimalist. Minimalist does nothing to pages 
that are not targeted and does not affect event propagation on any page.

Do you have any non-core module installed?

Does the behavior persist with all modules disabled?

You're right, it isn't Minimalist Everything doing this. Thought I'd isolated 
everything else, but I can't reproduce now. Sorry for the false alarm
